DAYANG

65km east of
Mersing, is a rustic tropical paradise island called
Pulau Aur. On the northern tip is a small cozy island
called Pulau Dayang. Built in traditional Malay
heritage, the communal style accommodations do come
with decent modern facilities. Pulau
Aur & Dayang are ideal for de-urbanizing and
a sanity check from the hustle and bustle of the
city life. The island is well-endowed with plenty
of diving possibilities. The dive sites bordering
the island are homes to many species of marine
life. Rayner’s Rock and Pinnacles are favored
sites celebrated for the exclusive sightings of
whale sharks and manta rays.
