Aluminum SCUBA tanks in UK?
As an American diver I have heard that the UK does not allow Aluminum tanks in recreational diving. Only steel. Is this true?
We tend to use both. I use steel tanks as back-gas and allies for stage bottles. Anyhoos, in answer to your question, no, aluminiUm tanks are fine. Nothing stopping you using them for back gas either. Your choice!
